Fly High But Lower Your Wings

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

It is hard to fly high, being a respected and known person in a society. It is even harder to keep being humble in spite holding those titles. We never know how we are going to behave when blessed with money and positions unless we have them. Having just known by our small society and being pointed as a leader is just very small that we do not have much to lose. Despite criticising corrupt leaders, or even ulama', just be fair to ourselves. Rememeber that we always have 100 percent chance to be like them or even worse when being in their position. Do criticise and reflection.

One of the best trait so far I know to be in a best leader is humble. I met that kind of leader and I swear being very happy to work with him. No being-controlled feeling. No hesitation to ask silly questions. No offence in giving any kind of opinions. That is the true leader! To guide not to control.

With low wings, everybody or anything can be murabbi. Seniors, juniors, children, elderly, muslim, ulama, non muslim. All of them are our murabbi indeed. Knowledge does not simply make us more superior that we can step on others. The more the knowledge the more the responsibility to guide others, not to control them.

Fitnah. It has been woken up. The deen becomes fitnah. Ulama becomes fitnah. In the name of deen, many things are made possible. What else we can do?

I suggest to close mouth tightly, stop talking unnecessary things about others and stop making enemies. Then seek for the ultimate truth.

اللهم أرنا الحق حقا وارزقنا اتباعة وأرنا الباطل باطلا وارزقنا اجتنابة

Language Barrier?

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Being a medical student is really amusing. Getting know about human bodies is one of the best things I ever experience in life. No wonder Al-Imam As-Syafie claimed medicine as one of the most important branches of knowledge. In fact, advancement of medical care is always associated with better development of a country as it serves better quality of life. Medical practitioners deal directly with human being. They talk, communicate, touch, examine and even open human bodies. Communication is inevitable, it is a part of daily routines, so as improving communication is obliged for every medical practitioners especially doctors. A medical student who does not give reasonable effort to improve communication skills cannot be accepted. It is completely unethical to touch someone, especially involving private areas, when the patient is not feeling comfortable with the doctor. The patient has no choice that he needs to be examined but the doctor should make the pa

Milestones in Life

We all have milestones in life. From the moment we got out of our mothers' womb, we already had out first milestone, which is moving from womb to world. From that moment onwards, we start crying, sitting, crawling, walking, running and speaking. Then, entering school, college and the list goes on. These milestones actually help us focus and play a role as a motivation for us to reach them. If none of these milestones existed, life would be dull and nonexiciting as we had nothing to look for in short time. However, they are not the end of the story. Instead, just footsteps to reach the final goal. For me as a muslim, my final goal is the hereafter. All of the things I might encounter in this world are not the ultimate goal. "Know that that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion.." (Al-Hadid:20). Knowing this fact is extremely important as to make us realise where to put things on its place accordingly. Believe me, those milestones will keep changing
